This workshop explains the importance of mental health and wellbeing in the workplace. We look at self care strategies for managers when considering stress and working under pressure, and discuss how to support employees mental wellbeing to ensure your business has an engaged, happy and productive workforce.

An understanding of mental health and wellbeing is really important for managers. We explore some common themes such as stress and anxiety and look at how mental health can impact performance, engagement and retention of staff.
Being a Manager can be hard work impacting the manager and their team. It's important for Managers to have good awareness of their own mental health and coping strategies that support them in their roles. Managers also need to develop better self-awareness and understand how they can impact others.
How can managers support and influence their team in the workplace? Exploring how our behaviour can have the greatest impact, along with how to start and be comfortable with conversations about mental health when someone might be struggling.
