Being the manager you'd like to have is easier than you think. It involves some understanding of wellbeing, self awareness and developing some new people skills - tweaking what you most likely do on a daily basis. This half day workshop covers 3 key elements:
Mental health and wellbeing in the workplace, what it means and why it's such an important topic. We explore some common themes such as stress and anxiety and we introduce diversity and Neurodiversity in the workplace.
Self awareness and self help. How do we take better care of ourselves and create healthy coping strategies to help us manage personal and professional pressure and stress.
Finally we look at how you can support your team in the workplace. We explain the differences between sympathy and empathy and explore how you can support team members with quality 1 to 1 coaching that focuses on the person before the spreadsheet.
This is a half day workshop that can be delivered online and face to face. The online option is ideal for small numbers of managers who can join delegates from other organisations and the in-person event is great for 8 plus managers and takes place at your workplace.
