It can be hard work being a guy, we might try to live up to male role models and stereotypes, but its not always easy. It's not that we can't talk about mental health, but for a long time guy's have avoided talking about personal feelings and kept emotions hidden.
Our Mens Mental Health workshops are 90 minutes of open chat, offering insight and sharing experiences that help gain better understanding and a different perspective of how we can take better care of ourselves and those male friends around us. Everyone is welcome to join in, together we can support and overcome the challenges around us and reduce the risks associated with Mens Mental health.

Hi, I'm Michael, and I'm happy to share my journey from being a happy guy to struggling with my mental health and then how I recovered. In 2018 I became a single dad with a full time job. The pressure built up and I didn't have anyone to turn to, and I'd forgotten how to ask for help and I wasn't comfortable sharing my emotions. With the help of friends, I started to speak up and I learnt that I wasn't alone. I started to focus on my own wellbeing. I'm now keen to share my experience and help others improve their self-care and seek help.
