Everyone could benefit from working with a coach. Whether you have a successful career or you're getting to a point in your life when you're thinking about what lies ahead and looking for a change in direction, having someone to talk to honestly and gain a different perspective can be so valuable.
Maybe you feel you're running on empty, or the metaphorical warning signs on your dashboard are coming on, it's time to stop and do something about your wellbeing.
You're ready for a change or need to make a change, working with a coach can help figure out how you're going to get to where you want to go.
You've noticed that your confidence is low and it's impacting on aspects of your life, such as work, family or social. Working out why your confidence has changed and how to improve it can be a game changer to how you deal with different situations through life.
Sessions are typically 60-75 minutes long using an online video platform such as Zoom. If you have a particular preference or need, please let us know and we'll always try to accommodate you.
The initial session is about getting to know you and building that all important rapport between each other. It's also a chance to understand what aspect(s) of your life you want to focus on over the course of the programme.
Your next session is about the why's and how's. Why you want to make changes and how you're going to start making those changes. We'll create a personal wellbeing plan which will have goals that you will start working towards.
The third and fourth sessions are about you getting into the flow. What's your mindset and progression. What changes are you noticing?
Your penultimate session, the aim is by now, you will be growing in confidence and feel in control of where you are heading in the future.
The last session in the programme and time to look back over the course and reflect on your journey so far. It's also a chance create future goals to ensure that your Future You is a sustainable one and we're here for you if you need us!
The role of a coach isn't to judge you, or make assumptions, it's to listen with empathy.
Part of the relationship between you and your Coach is honesty, you should feel comfortable to be honest and we will be honest with you. Remember, sometimes it's not about what you want to hear but what you need to hear.
One of the reasons for engaging with a Life Coach is that you feel you need support to help you work out what might be holding you back and then plan your way forward. Working with someone who can be impartial and supportive is really key.
Life is a journey and like most, mine has involved lots of twists, turns and obstacles that have meant I have had to learn to rise to challenges, adapt and be resilient.
Gaining a diploma Coaching over 10 years ago and becoming a Mental Health First Aid Instructor, I am passionate about helping people to understand, challenge themselves and achieve so they can live their best lives.
For most of my career I worked at senior management level, leading teams in demanding and competitive sectors such as publishing. 3 years ago, having experienced some personal trauma, I decided to make some changes in my life, to protect my own wellbeing & that of my family. This lead me on a journey to set up Fit for Tomorrow, because I wanted to help people make better choices in their lives.
